Torsion axles trade leaf springs for rubber-cord suspension inside the axle tube, giving each wheel independent travel with fewer moving parts to maintain, and this Dexter-built axle is finished for saltwater duty.
How it works: Rubber cords or cartridges inside the axle tube absorb shock and handle suspension travel in place of leaf springs. Each wheel works independently, and the axle bolts or welds directly to the trailer frame for a stable ride.
